Administrative Update from The Pines Olean

Hello Everyone, we hope you are well! The staff and residents at The Pines of Olean would like to thank our wonderful families and community for their support and encouragement during this time. The Pines staff are continuing to monitor all guidance from the county and state health departments, and the Centers for Disease Control at the Federal level. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our residents, which is why we are making sure to stay current on all mandates for nursing homes.

Operation Uplift in Action

Many of you will recall the introduction of “Operation Uplift”, a program for residents, friends and families to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of The Pines employees.

Administrative Update from The Pines Machias

Happy Friday everyone!  The residents and staff of the Pines of Machias would like to thank everyone- our families, friends and community- for continuing to support and encourage us during these challenging times.

People in Our Neighborhoods

Nursing homes are really small neighborhoods housed under a large roof. The late Fred Rogers invited many of us to visit his “neighborhood” every day and we grew to know and love the people there. The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted The Pines Neighborhoods. The flow of “people in our neighborhoods” has changed due to isolation precautions. Residents not only miss their own families and friends, but they are missing the other people that came to their neighborhoods. The familiar faces are no longer able to say “Hello”.
