Hello Family and Friends of the Pines of Olean,

Please be advised that the Pines of Olean received results this morning on our large scale employee COVID testing. Thankfully, we had multiple negative results. Unfortunately, we had 1 contracted staff test positive.

Due to the positive test result we have changed our Window Visit procedure. Upon arrival, please be seated under the awning at the front of the building. Please do not arrive before your scheduled time to ensure proper social distancing is maintained.

The Portville Girl Scout Troop 10084, comprised of Juniors and Cadets, made a SWEET donation to The Pines. 280 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies were delivered to the delight of every resident and staff member!

Hello Family and Friends of the Olean Pines, We are happy to announce that we will be able to resume Window Visits starting tomorrow June 9, 2020! The Window Visit schedule for this week will be Tuesday through Thursday 10:00 am to 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Starting next week forward, Window Visits will be Monday through Thursday 10:00 am to 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

On the morning of May 24, 2020, the Pines of Olean received its first set of results from our newly State-directed large scale employee COVID-19 testing.  We had 158 negative results, and 2 positive results.  The two (2) employees who tested positive have worked in the Olean building over the past 2 weeks.  As a measure of precaution, we are planning to test all residents who either consent themselves, or whose activated health care proxy consents for them.  None of the residents tested show positive results to date, and we are hopeful, based on our diligent use of PPE and infection contro
