Hello Everyone,
We would like to thank everyone for the wonderful turn out for the window visits at the facility, the residents are ecstatic to see you all! Thank you for all of your patience during our first week as it was quite challenging to organize; however, definitely well worth it to see all the smiles on everyone’s faces!
The Olean Times Herald came to the facility and did a very nice article about the window visits which was published last week.
Administration is working diligently to stay informed on all of the guidance that is coming from the local and state health department, and are dedicated to maintaining the well-being of all of our residents and staff. We will be utilizing our new communication system to alert the responsible parties of our residents to any new information that the facility has regarding COVID-19. This system will generate phone calls, text messages, and emails in a matter of seconds in an effort to keep everyone informed as soon as possible for any changes occurring.
We have also installed televisions on each unit that are being utilized as digital picture frames! With the assistance of Kim Chase, our Family Liaison, residents are enjoying familiar pictures of their family members and themselves on each unit. The residents like to share the stories of the pictures with staff, and they have been the source of many conversations and joy over the past few days! We encourage family members to continue to send pictures to Kim via the website so that they can be uploaded for everyone to enjoy.
