Certified Nurse Aide in Training Program Full time $17.08 (Grade 13-3)

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS

The work involves clinical training and competencies to prepare an incumbent to appropriately care for residents of residential health care facilities. An incumbent may perform direct patient care tasks under the direct supervision of the clinical supervisor during the training program after receiving sufficient training. Appointments to this class are temporary for a period up to four months for the purposes of completing required training. Training is carried out under the supervision of a licensed nurse. A Nurse Aide in Training does related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You must be 18 and able to pass a background check.

NOTE:

Nurse Aide Trainees must test within 10 days of successful program completion. Upon successful completion of the training If all certification requirements are met, individuals may be eligible for initial appointment as a Nurse Aide.
